Harambee recently submitted a grant proposal to the Melinda Gates Foundation to request a partnership in extending health care to women and girls in some of the underserved areas of Kenya where Harambee programs.  The 46 Grow-a-Doc program graduates and students form the core supporting the proposal's goals.

In 2014, Project Harambee initiated the Grow-a-Doc/Nurse program for educating qualified students in healthcare programs.  Thanks to all the loyal donors, the program has assisted students in three countries: Kenya, Zambia and Ethiopia.  A total of 30 have received their degrees as M.D.

Our new Harambee Associate, Karla Hardersen, has developed a new website
to help market Harambee crafts and cards.  She has done an incredibly
nice job so I hope you will visit the site and help support all our efforts
in Africa.
